Founded in 1948 and made up of 194 member states, the World Health Organization (WHO) serves as the leading international authority on global public health. WHO is dedicated to achieving the highest standard of health for all people through addressing challenges around pandemics, equitable healthcare access, the eradication of infectious diseases, and more. As a pivotal body of the United Nations, WHO plays a crucial role in shaping health policies and coordinating international responses to health crises. At this iteration of EverMUN, WHO’s topic, Increasing Access to Hospitals in Underprivileged Areas, will allow you to explore the intersection between healthcare accessibility and resource distribution. Register for WHO to deepen your understanding of global health challenges in an immersive experience at EverMUN 2025!

Director
Kavya Sharma is a freshman at Eastlake High School and is ecstatic to be serving as your Director for WHO at EverMUN 2025! Ever since her first conference (which happened to be an EverMUN conference!) Kavya has fallen in love with the Model United Nations world. Although a shy delegate at first, she has grown more and more confident with each conference she attends! She has grown to love the heated moderated caucuses and the crazy un-mods that follow! Outside of the MUN world, you can catch Kavya playing volleyball, sipping on coffee, listening to Spotify, or trying to catch up on some much-needed sleep! Kavya is excited to meet all the new delegates and help create an unforgettable committee experience for everyone!
Chair
Chirag Nijhawan is a sleep-deprived junior at Eastlake High School and is stoked to serve as the Chair for WHO at EverMUN2025! Chirag’s first ModelUN conference started with him asking, “What’s a motion?”. Terrified to speak in his 100-person committee, Chirag’s hesitant first steps grew into confidence and a passion for debate. MUN has given him some of his fondest memories, like the time he sprinted half a mile after a late dinner, only to return to his crisis committee just in time to negotiate a tense hostage exchange (it did not go well). Outside of MUN, you can find Chirag binging TV shows and playing pickup basketball. Chirag cannot wait to meet the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious delegates of WHO and knows that together, we can help make the world a healthier place!
Assistant Director
Saanvi Agarwal is a freshman at Eastlake High School and is elated to be serving as your Assistant Director for the World Health Organization! Saanvi started her MUN journey in sixth grade when she chose to go to MUN over Wild Waves (and she’s glad she did). As such, she was pulled into the fabulous world of debate, chaotic un-moderated caucuses, and foreign affairs. From cracking codes in search of hidden treasure to debating the all-important question of whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it absolutely does), MUN has become a passion that holds a special place in her heart. Outside of MUN, Saanvi can be found drowning in homework, blasting Taylor Swift (#swiftie!), and obsessively drinking bubble tea. Saanvi is thrilled to debate with all delegates and hopes to make tons of new memories at EverMUN 2025!
